Today we spent over 2 hours making handouts for an activity in Mandy's chemistry class. We designed and cut out almost 500 little ion papers. They are learning about ions and the basics of chemical bonding. It's hard to keep 50 kids engaged when many of them barely understand your english. =)
Hey guys! It's Kat! I wanted to let you know that I was watching the Bonnie Hunt Show and Serena Williams was on. Apparently she built a secondary school an hour and a half from Nairobi and because it wasn't large enough she has added on. She'll be at the school Feb. 23. She did not mention a town name, just that it was 1 1/2hrs from Nairobi. Maybe you could figure out more details and meet up with her!
